Dr. Stephanie Suchy began working at Hinsdale Animal Hospital in June of 2019. Dr. Suchy received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Campaign in 2014 where she graduated with honors. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2019. Dr. Suchy is also the recipient of the 2019 American College of Veterinary Surgeons Awards and AAHA Award for Proficiency in Primary Care. She is a member of the AVMA and CVMA.
Dr. Suchy grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with her two dogs Cole and Gus, both which she adopted during veterinary school.
Dr. Suchy has always been very passionate about the human-animal bond. She truly enjoys working with not only the animals but with their owners and believes client communication is key to a successful veterinarian. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include oncology, shelter medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is also Fear Free certified.
