Heartworm & Flea/Tick Prevention
As long as an adult flea or tick can and a suitable host to feed from such as your pet, they can stay warm and healthy throughout the cold season. Adult fleas are capable of surviving in temperatures as low as 30 degrees!
Heartworm Disease is life threatening for your pet, and the treatment is very harsh on them. Even though your pet may spend very little or no time outside, these pesky critters can sneak into your home anytime a door or window opens. All it takes is 1 bite from an infected mosquito! This is why Doctors recommend all dogs and cats to be on a preventative year round. Your pet’s health is not worth the risk!
