We offer several levels of grooming at Kremer Veterinary Services, ranging from a basic wash and dry to a complete day at the spa. All Kremer Veterinary Services groomers are certified by the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA).
Depending on the type of pet, we recommend grooming your pet every four to eight weeks. When scheduling an appointment, please choose from the options below:
"The Scrub Up"
The perfect treatment for pooches in need of a simple bath, the Scrub Up includes a dual rinse and choice of the following products:
• A gentle towel dry and blow-dry by hand
• Ear cleaning with our sweet pea ear cleaning solution
• A ten-minute brush-out with a coat-appropriate brush
• Footpad shaving and a hygiene clip
• Anal gland expression.
"The Wash & Trim"
Our Wash & Trim package includes all Scrub Up services plus the following:
• A full-bodied haircut to the pet owner’s specifications and/or breed standards

An add-on to the Scrub Up, this package is perfect for our furriest friends. We use a special de-shedding shampoo and conditioner as part of a five-step process to reduce shedding by up to 80% when done on a regular basis! We use products which are gentle to your pet’s skin and contain omega-3s for added silkiness.
This treatment concludes with a 30-45 minute brush-out with coat-appropriate, de-shedding brushes.

Help Save Pets was originally founded as the Humane Society of Plainfield in 2000. Since then we have placed over 11,000 animals into loving homes. Each one of these animals was given shelter, food, medical aid and vaccinations and time to find the right home. Our doctors mended mutilated limbs and cured many illnesses so that these animals could get a second chance at good lives. We have grown and now operate out of 6 locations, not all of them in Plainfield. In 2008, we changed our name from the Humane Society of Plainfield to Help Save Pets, still HSP.
Dr. Tony Kremer owns 6 veterinary hospitals in the Chicagoland area and one in Ohio. He is the founder of Help Save Pets, an animal shelter which has saved more than 11,000 pets since 2000. Dr. Tony’s knowledge, insight, and advice are shared regularly with major media outlets across the nation and in the third largest market. Dr. Tony is also a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association Public Education Committee that routinely gets the word out about responsible pet ownership.
