Help Save Pets was originally founded as the Humane Society of Plainfield in 2000. Since then, we have placed over 15,000 animals into loving homes. Each one of these animals was given shelter, food, medical aid and vaccinations, and time to find the right home. Our doctors care for the medical and surgical needs of our homeless pets, and our Kremer Veterinary Services hospitals donate cage space, to give these precious pets a second chance at a fur-ever home. Help Save Pets is a registered as a 501c non-for profit. Please consider clicking here to make a tax deductible donation.

Our Amazing Testimonials:

Mallard Point is our only vet choice for our dogs. Dr. Mark is an outstanding vet and has always taken the best care to ensure the health of our dogs. I would recommend him to anyone, Knowledgeable, and caring.

Karen Contilli / Google

I love taking our dogs here! Everyone is so helpful and they remind you when you need to update your dogs vaccines. Highly recommend.

Marissa Becker / Google

The staff was kind, attentive, and seemingly genuine. The Vet was very knowledgeable and more than willing to explain all the issues with my dog. He had a great bedside manor with my dog and made both of us comfortable.

Simple Sandman / Google

Dr. Mark has a genuinely caring manner and my dogs respond positively to him. When he pets and talks to them during the examination they immediately stop shaking and drooling. He always takes time to address our concerns and thoroughly explain our options. Sophie and the girls at the front desk are friendly and efficient. They make you feel welcome the moment you step into the waiting room.

Debra Corbin / Google

Mallard Point has been very nice to deal with. They are very caring to my dogs which is very important to me. Two years ago our boxer was hit by a car and had to be put down. They were very compassionate and thoughtful to us. Even though it was a very emotional situation for us, they treated our Charlie and us with respect and caring. They are awesome!

Annette T / Google

I have been a happy client of Mallard Point for over 10 yrs. From bath and nail to regular checkups to major surgeries, they have handled them all. I have a pretty big pack and they have always worked with me to keep my cost manageable.I also recommended a friend whose dog had a torn ACL. Dr Mark was able to repair the leg at much lower cost then they had been quoted elsewhere. I highly recommend anyone to Mallard Point.

I trust them with my pets. they are caring people who love animals and take good care of them.

Flip Begong / Google

I refuse to take my cats anywhere else! They are all so friendly and go out of their way to help! I used to drive an hour just so I knew my fur babies were safe and well taken care of!!

Trish Albert / Facebook

Had a great experience w the staff and Dr Mark. He spent all the time needed to answer my questions and helped me decide the best route to take with our sweet ROCKY. Also had a good experience w the after hours associated clinic-answered question and calmed a frantic fur mom. Thank you! That is why we keep coming back.

Cheryl Crisman / Facebook

I have a cat who has recurring health issues. Dr. Mark is so attentive, available, patient about discussing conditions and options, and aware of how she responds to treatment. He is a great vet.
